If interest in adoptions:
We are asking people to view our petfinder website for available pets. We have applications on our website for adoption. Please complete an application and email it to info@fcarpets.org. If you are interested in a kitten also please email a completed application to the listed email.
An FCAR staff member will verify your application and email you back when you have been approved to schedule a time for you to come into the shelter.
Our goal is to have the appointment scheduled once an adopter in paired with an animal so that they can spend the appointment getting to know each other and seeing if there is a connection.
FCAR continues to provide an essential service to the community by intaking pets in need and finding adoptive homes. We ask if a community member is in need of surrendering please email info@fcarpets.org. In order to continue operations, we must reduce the potential spread of the virus by taking extra precautions.
Our website is updated as frequently as possible
-
All staff members will be wearing appropriate face or mask coverings and maintaining a 6 foot social distance while interacting with our visitors and the public.
-
All visitors entering we ask to be wearing appropriate face or mask coverings while maintaining at least a 6 foot social distance.
-
We may only host one group (maximum of 4 people) guests at a time. If our lobby currently has a group present our staff will capture the customer’s name and vehicle information and then direct them to their vehicle to sit in comfortably or the customer may wait outside to be allowed admittance to the facility. If a customer chooses to wait in their vehicle, a team member will retrieve them when allowed to.
-
Due to this we do ask that visitors keep in a mind a 30-45 minute window of time to be in the shelter.
Contact info@fcarpets.org or 802-524-9650 for additional questions or information. Please keep in mind we are experiencing higher than usual communications so please use patience.
